disableBatteryOptimization

Prompts a system dialog, asking the user to allow disabling battery optimization for the app.

On some devices, battery optimization can have a negative impact on apps running in the background. This is due to OEM specific customizations of Android's battery optimization feature. As such, disabling battery optimization is generally recommended for quality detections, if possible.

This method requires the REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS permission to be specified in your app's manifest. On the Google Play Store, this permission is allowed only for app with specific use cases. Therefore, if you plan to publish your app on the Google Play Store, check to see whether your use case is allowed. See here.
